Western Cape Equestrian Federation Presents….
Dr Henning Gericke, Sports Psychologist to our National Sports Heroes, as the Keynote Speaker at the Western Cape Equestrian Federation Fundraiser. Born in Worcester, and receiving his Phd from Stellenbosch University, he is currently based in Pretoria. Henning’s talk will be about the 17 Ways of being a Champion Parent – the subject of his next book. He will have other books on sale too, and is happy to sign them for you. An absolute MUST for parents, coaches, athletes and anyone who works with a team (…….. all of us in Equestrian!).

All funds raised go towards the Western Cape Equestrian Federation Transformation Fund which is used to transport promising athletes with limited means to important competitions.
Highlights of Dr Gericke’s career so far:
- 2004 – 2007: Springbok Rugby Team: Rugby World Cup champions, Player, Coach and Team of the Year.
- 2008: Sharks Rugby Team: Currie Cup Winners.
- 2010: Working with Bafana players at training camps in preparation for FIFA World Cup 2010.
- 2012: Working with the South African Olympics Swimming Team 2012.
- A keen athlete himself, he has personal experience in both the highs and lows of competition, and knows what it takes to break the mental barriers which inhibit us from succeeding.

You can select a service from 1 of the magnificent Rivendell Dressage Stallions below – Rivendell’s Florimon, Rivendell’s Highflyer or Rivendell’s Bergerond. Rivendell Stud does not do live coverings, but the semen collection fee is included in the auction item. Any reproductive work for the mare or such is for the owner’s account.
